TEACHER ADRIAN'S getting married !!! :)

Teacher Adrian proposed to his girlfriend, (now fiance) last year Christmas and she said YES! aww ... We're so happy for the both of them. Do remember congratulate Teacher Adrian when you see him yah! :)

TEACHER XINWEI & TEACHER WAISUM'S baby Alyssa is born!

Isn't she adorable? :) She's sucha darling ... And Teacher Xinwei looks soo happy holding her! We pray that baby Alyssa will grow up to be strong and healthy!

Lastly kids remember! It's the start of a new year, start the year right! Write down all the goals you have for this year and achieve your dreams. Have a MEGA AWESOME 2011!

10 year-old Siobhan gives to God!

Greeting CHCkiddos! We have an awesome testimony on how 10 year-old Siobhan was blessed by God when she gave to build God a house!


Hello Friends, my name is Siobhan and I am 10 years old. In 2008, I gave all my savings of $20 to God for the Arise and Build. Praise the Lord! After giving, I received many blessings.
First, I joined an art competition and won $500 in the UOB Painting of the Year Competition. I happily gave my tithe and bought myself a Princess Bible and a Bible for my mother.

Then I came in 2nd position in class and my godmother promised to buy me a Nintendo DS. After discussing with my mother, I decided to exchange the DS for $300 cash instead, which I used for my studies.
Then I won a consolation prize in “The Pinnacle @ Duxton” art contest again last year.

Overall, with cash and book vouchers, I received many more times what I gave to God! Hallelujah! God is good!

Hi Lovely People! Hope you had an AWESOME time of celebration over the December period!

It's been awhile since you seen our last post but we are definately not sitting around the chimney waiting for Santa Claus to drop presents! City Harvest Children's Church is also bringing up the festive heat over the past one month as well!

KIDS BAND UPDATE ...


Recently we brought 3 members of our KIDS Band to Petalingjaya for a Children's Conference. They went there to serve as bookstore helpers, backup vocalist and even lead the congregation in praise & worship! That's not all! We also went to visit an orphanage over there and they used their savings to buy yummy xmas goodies for all the kids in the orphanage! What is so amazing is that, they don't need a glorious platform to serve God but they can also go to the poor and needy and show the kids the love of God. We are soo proud of you Gabbie, Zaq & Wesley.

THANKSGIVING SERVICE WITH SUN!


We also had a one night special thanksgiving service with SUN! *AHH!! SUN! We love you so much!* The Kids Band led Praise to all the pioneers and leaders of City Harvest Church! They practiced really really hard for this ... Here are some of the rehearsal pictures!

She just wenton a work/holiday trip to HONGKONG!

And so, I was recently on a trip to Hong Kong! A God-given trip I must say.. Why, because I've been wanting to visit my primary school best friend for the longest time but hadn't been able to afford it, and one day, my boss calls me and asks me to go to Hong Kong on her behalf! Wow.. great is our God who hears us! And the rest, they say is history! haha

All in all, it was a great trip! My friends taught me so much.. they were hospitable, patient and generous. They made me feel so well taken care and in Hazel's words, "when you give, you receive so much more.."

I thank God for such wonderful friends and for a most beautiful and memorable work-holiday!
